Lua Rosa dos Desejos is a xote song. I wrote this song about this beautiful girl that is a very good xote dancer and the emotions that she brings to my mind. It’s a sort of platonic love song. When you’re onstage you see all sorts of things happening in the audience, and it helps if you see someone really enjoying the music. Listen >>

Que Mal Há was written by Toninho Benevente and his fellow Binho do Agueré. This is a xote-reggae song that describes some places of Mauá, inviting us to live and love in Mauá. It’s is a love song to Mauá. Listen >>

We recorded these songs last year in Amarante’s home studio, as pre-production tracks. We’re scheduling to record them in a better studio, with better production (and with all musicians of the band playing) until December 2005.
